That was the word greeted me this morning (around 6+) when Baby G was fussing on the bed next to me. She then said a few more gibberish words which has no meaning at all…

So, does that means she called me???

I wish she did! Yeah!

Anyway, she also mumbled ‘deh-di‘ yesterday morning but I was not that sure. I told PiggyBeng that his princess called him… hehehehe PiggyBeng who was still blur just peered over and look at Baby G and she stopped mumbling once she smell the boobie…

Her favorite bath time toy… is the cute little rubber tug-boat which came together with a book I bought for Darrius 2 years ago.

Sometimes I will let her sit there for 10 minutes while I quickly do some chores! Well… before she knows how to climb out!!!!!

Mooooooooooooo! RamblingMoo is 4 today!!!

Gosh, I was just wondering what special day is today and realized that RamblingMoo entered its 4th year! How time flies!

If you have noticed, I have been doing a lot of changes to this blog, changed the theme, changed the header and even have a Moo-moo Cow watermark on all images!

I hope I can continue to blog and share my blogging journey with those who visit this little humble blog that talks about everything under the sun and moon!

That day when we were there, the weather was quite ok and I was feeling slightly better so we decided to go. Darrius was of course very happy. That was the first time all of us entered the turf club. It was a day filled with fun as it was so crowded with people! Darrius was extremely happy seeing all the horses but he screamed the moment we put him on one!

We also saw the equestrian shows which was one of the highlights of the event which went on for 3 days. It was nice to see the various types of horses. There were pony rides too but Darrius refused to go on the pony! For pony rides, the kids don’t have to put on any equestrian clothing.

I wonder why there isn’t any horse show this year since it was a successful event last year? I’m sure the kids would love to go pet the horses and go on free pony rides!

Baby G is eating very well now (which was a huge relief!) since I changes her menu every day! Itellyu, she is more fussy than the Queen! This girl knew it when there is fish in her porridge! She finished in record time too and eating more as well so I was wondering what caused her to wake up so many times at night? She can’t be hungry coz I still feed her milk after each meal and she also suck in between.

I am kinda sick with the iPhone’s games now so has stopped playing while feeding her and also to wart Darrius off as that boy kept bugging me for the phone. I am thinking maybe it is high time I get a laptop instead since we have WIFI here so I can surf from anywhere in the house. Most laptops now come with extended laptop warranty which is better compared to desktops. And I extremely like it when I can do my work and read blogs whenever I am stuck nursing Baby G.

Must go bug PiggyBeng for a laptop soon… which he has promised to get one for me anyway! Must start my chanting sessions at his ears!

PiggyBeng cooked his famous BBQ pork ribs for the occasion which was lip-smacking good – as usual! So much better than you know which place! Well, initially he suggested we go there but I reminded him that kids don’t eat free on weekends and their quality is unpredictable!!!

For a sumptuous meal like the above, we don’t need to pay RM45/plate! Though we have to do the cooking but all easy peasy since the ribs goes into the oven and I just need to boil the vegetables and stir fry the baked beans.

And you can see from his face that he can’t wait to dig into his stick of rib though his lips are still swollen from ulcers!

If we were at the restaurant, we’ll probably have to pay another RM15 for his kid’s meal! Now we can all enjoy a good meal at the comfort of our home and everyone enjoyed with no complains.

Then the next day, we went to Perda in Mainland. This is Baby G’s first time to Perda as the last time we were there was about 10 months ago… which means Baby G was still in mommy’s tummy. How time flies!

And if we want to get the free ‘push car’ with the steering wheel still attached, we gotta be early! And so the 2 little monkeys enjoyed their own ‘cars’….

See the number on Darrius’s push car? hehehhee… see, we have to be that early to get the good one! They go off pretty fast since it was a Sunday with lots of kids in that area. Even the baby trolley that Baby G sat on was gone in minutes! Baby G likes it a lot as it is much higher than her stroller and best is, this one can recline up to 150 degree which our city stoller can’t!

PiggyBeng was a happy man that day. He saw some ceramic pots on 70% off and we grabbed 2 pieces! Normal price was RM70 each and now we paid less than RM50 for 2! hahaha Don’t know what he wants to cook with that 2 pots! We had lunch at Old Town Kopi Tiam but it was another lousy experience. It was just 1pm and their curry chicken and curry noodles already OOS! The restaurant manager must be a real lousy planner! How to last till dinner time?

Then, before we leave, we let the elder monkey to relase some of his energy here…

The inflated mega gym has changed a nex set of inflates so PiggyBeng said to let Darrius have a go there. He played for about an hour and decided that he has enough. While Darrius and PiggyBeng stayed on for some sand art, I brought Baby G to the newly opened DIY shop next to it. Found lots of interesting knick-knack there but found that their exit alarm a little annoying when people go in and out of the shop.

After we left Perda, PiggyBeng decided to bring us for dinner nearby which turned out to be another huge disappointment. PiggyBeng’s friend raved about this shop (May Fong – selling Ipoh horfun) but their food is so plain and bland that I don’t think they are any better than the hawkers!

I was just reading this article and was shocked that just a simple photo taken with a smartphone could actually divulged all kind of private information of the person who took the photo and tag it onto those social networking sites like Facebook or Twitter.  How scary can that be!!!!!

So, be mindful the next time you snap photos with your smartphones and tagged them online!

Remember when I first blogged about our very 1st experience at Chicago Rib House in Gurney Plaza on this year’s Father’s Day? We were all happy with their food and service though they were not excellent.

Because of that reason, we decided to return the following week just for their ribs! You must have thought that we are nuts to eat at the same place for 2 consecutive weeks but we did as there aren’t much eating places that attracts us around that area. It is either Chilis or Chicago.

So, after the movie we had our dinner there. We ordered a burger and a full rack of pork ribs this round thinking that we can share among the 3 of us. The first time it took about 15 minutes for our orders to come but this round it took more than 30 minutes! The restaurant was not full (about 4 tables) at all with most of the diners half way through their meals.

I think we asked the waiters at least 3 times for our orders but none came back to tell us when they will be served! At that time (Friday at 5pm) is not a peak period either. There were at least 5 to 6 waitresses either walking about or congregate at one corner chit-chatting. About what, I don’t have any idea!

Finally at almost 40 minutes, our orders came. And when I look at that plate of FULL rack of pork ribs I have a shocked!

If you compare the plate of FULL rack above with the half rack I had the previous week, you can see the huge difference and will also wonder why one would want to pay an extra RM15++ for it! I felt short changed!!!I was baffled by the size. If I have known, we will just order the half rack. Seriously… don’t they have some kind of STANDARD for their food? I’m sure the hogs/pigs are being reared till a standard size before they are slaugthered.

So, I decided to count the amount of bones/ribs in that full rack. There were 8 in total. I thought a full rack has 12 sticks of bones so I decided to make a check on Wikipedia. Then I view back the ribs we had in Cafe Cartel in Singapore. I found they have better standard control as their plate of full rack of ribs are of about the same size even at different outlets. Oh yeah, I forgot to add that it was so burnt that not much meat left on the ribs!

Then came our burger… Well, it does not make me feel any better! For almost the same price we paid for burgers at Chilis, we got this…

It was the least appetising and most pathetic burger I’ve ever seen! And mind you, this was supposed to be a gourmet burger! If this one from McD, I won’t have anything to say. Even that slice of lettuce looked so limp!

And the taste? It tasted weird!

Will we go back again? I don’t know… probably some day. For now, I think we will go back to Chilis. No more pork ribs outside but luckily I have my own chef at home who can do better ribs than Chicago! And yes, it is cheaper too!!

I hope to offer her more varieties when her digestion systems gets stronger as I am facing another battle. This girl is not like her kor-kor. She don’t like bland food! She wanted her food to be full of flavors! For the first time, I have to add soy sauce or sugar when cooking baby food!

She is really testing my patience to the max! Each time I give her a new food, she will gingerly finish it without much protest but when I serve her the same thing again (most times is on the same day) she will clamped up her mouth like a clam! No amount of coaxing can make her open unless she gets really frustrated and cry… which I will use the opportunity to stuff the spoon inside her mouth! (>0<)

Since she do not have any teeth yet, I am stuck with the few food which I know she is not so keen in. She likes crunchy stuff (espcially those baby bites!) but she don’t like drinking water therefore I’ll have to cut down on those worried that she might get constipated.

It is definitely not a very sweet journey!

Sometime back in April, before our Melbourne trip, PiggyBeng was given 2 tickets to watch any movies in either GSC Gurney Plaza or GSC QueensBay Mall. It came with a RM20 KFC vouchers too but I have used up the vouchers before the show.

Darrius has been watching Chicken Little during that period and he has asked for the ‘big screen with cola and popcorns’ just like what he saw in Chicken Little. The tickets expired in Oct 2010 so I told Darrius that daddy will bring him to the movie very soon knowing that Toy Story 3 will be screening in June during the school holiday. Therefore, I picked 25th June (a Friday since PiggyBeng works half day only) which is a week after school reopens. At which we already came back from our KL trip.

The tickets are the regular tickets so I told PiggyBeng to bring Darrius for the 3-D one which I felt he will enjoy more since he was very excited about those 3-D glasses he saw during some LG and Sony roadshows. However, for 3-D movies, we have to top-up RM5 each for the 3-D glasses rental. Quite okie mah!

After checking with both cinemas, I found out only Gurney Plaza has the 3-D screening so we have to go there lor! I decided not to go for the movie since Baby G might make noises (probably other movie goers will curse at me for bringing a baby!!!) in the cinema and I opted to bring her shopping instead. For that, we don’t have to waste money buying another ticket. 2 hours is very short only when a woman shops!

As it was a matenee show, there were only a small crowd. And so, while PiggyBeng went to get the tickets issued, I brought the kids to cam-whore a bit…

Before they went in to the cinema, I bought a box of popcorns for him which I have promised him earlier but told him there won’t be any cola coz cola will spoil his teeth. Instead, I packed a bottle of Vitagen for him. Luckily the staff at the entrace did not check his bag!

And so, what happened after the movie?

I asked him if he enjoyed the movie and he told me ‘NO’. I asked him ‘WHY?’ but he did not know how to reply me. *scratch head*

PiggyBeng then told me that Darrius started to look for me half way through the movie. According to PiggyBeng, Darrius even started to cry during the scene *where the toys got flatten up at the junk yard* and another scene where *the evil doll trying to harm some of those helpless toys*. I’m not too sure since I’ve yet to watch that movie myself. Probably he felt sad for those toys???

After the movie we went to Chicago again and this time we had a very bad experience with them! Will blog about it in a seperate post.
