Waiting for the currency to drop
For this trip to Melbourne, we did not change much Australian dollars since we still have quite an substantial amount left over from our previous trip to Perth. PiggyBeng was a little kiasu then and changed quite a huge amount and since we stayed at my aunt’s place, we managed to save quite a lot especially on accommodation and car rental.
I’ve just check the exchange rate a while ago and Australian dollar to Malaysian Ringgit is still pretty stable around RM2.96 to AUD$1. I was hoping it will drop a few more cents but looks like AUD$ is staying strong!
This trip, we won’t be visiting any museums or mints to buy gold coins but going more for nature walks! YES…. a lot of scenery gawking!!!

Perhaps you get some USD…cos USD is going to drop. Then use usd to buy aud.
