A belated celebration for MIL

Yesterday we went to feast again… this time to Starview… AGAIN! It seems that last weekend is all about food and more food! Again we were all stuffed to the brim with yummy good food. Nothing beats Chinese Cuisine!

It was a belated birthday celebration for my mother in law. Her birthday was last Monday which I did a small celebration for her at home with a small cake (store bought!), red eggs and salted baked chicken. I even cooked her the ‘long life noodles’ for the occasion.

Knowing that Darrius will cry and scream for not able to blow the candle, I bought an extra cake which he chose himself (as if is his birthday!). I bought the cakes from Maxim which has a store near our place. It was a lycee flavor which tasted quite nice as it was not too sweet. In fact that was the only non chocolate cake in the entire store!

My MIL do not take chocolate as she constantly has constipation problem. Each time she takes chocolate she has to take laxative such as Senokot or glucomannan to ease her bowel.

Oh kids just loooooooooovvvvvvveeeee to blow candles don’t they?
If every candle they had blown adds on to their real age, soon they will be older than their granny….
