His latest ‘hobby’
Besides sitting in front of all his PCs on his free time, my Ah Beng don’t have much hobbies to boast about. However, a few months ago, some of his colleagues made a bet that my Ah Beng will never take up golf coz it can be a very expensive hobby since most of them knew PiggyBeng is such a ‘kiam-siap’ (stingy) person. And to prove all of them wrong, PiggyBeng really took up golf! (My jaw dropped too!!!)
PiggyBeng has been going to the driving range for practices at any chance he got. In fact, we have been following him to Butterworth pretty often so he can play at the driving range there, which is slightly cheaper than those on the island. We will normally wait for him at the mall next door and do a little shopping.
He hopes to play on the fairways some day when his hits improved. My uncle also invited PiggyBeng to join him at his golf club when he goes to Ipoh. And if I should strike lottery someday, I’ll buy him some Myrtle beach golf packages even!
