Why I have chosen the name Alice? A little journey back in time….

My given Chinese name is a little difficult to pronounce and a lot of my friends associated it with a boy’s name. So, when I entered Convent for my secondary years (high school), I decided to adopt a Christian name (go to Convent mah so must have a Christian name wat!). I did thought about some fancy names like Felicia, Casrinna and the sort but they don’t suit me. After all, I’m a simple person so a simple name will be nice.

I have always like those Disney fairytales characters and Cinderella is my fav but I can’t name myself Cinderella can I? Then I figured I like Alice in Wonderland as Alice’s characters suited me… I’m someone dreamy just like her. And so I’ve used this name since! Also, it is always nice to have a name that starts with an ‘A’ as I can be the first on the list!
