Another bus accident

A couple of days ago I read in the news that another express bus accident took place on the North-South Highway. Yes… again! I just cannot understand why after so many tragic accidents involving these express buses, they still do not learn… the bus companies, the drivers and our government!

Both PiggyBeng and myself used to be a frequent travelers on these buses years back and now the thoughts of going on one often send chills down our spines. Though some of these bus companies offered travel insurance, I still don’t feel ‘protected’. If the drivers are reckless, there is nothing we can do. Often these accidents happened due to the drivers’ negligence.

I just hope our ‘BOLEH’ government will do something about this… especially now with the high fuel cost, more people will travel with public transports to cut down fuel consumption.
