The price of Chicken Rice increased so much!
I did not cook lunch yesterday as I have to hand wash a big tub of laundry (fussy me) so there isn’t much time for me to prepare and cook. Since our house is very convenient (there are a foodcourt and a few coffee shops within walking distance) and finding food is never too difficult just that the taste of some of the food is so-so only.
I went to the foodcourt first and browse around for something nice to eat but I don’t feel like having noodles and the economy rice stall’s selection was quite limited and I know that lady is charging very expensive for the dishes. Then I decided to go across the road where there is this chicken rice stall which taste is so much better than the one in the foodcourt.
I ordered a chicken drumstick for Darrius and a a normal breast meat for myself. When I saw her chopping the chicken I said to myself ‘geez… so little only’ but thought that since she don’t charge that much (the price used to be like RM2.50) so I think nothing until I pay up. The packet for Darrius now cost RM3.50!!!!!
When I reached home and inspect the 2 boxes of chicken rice… they are not only expensive but the quantity has also shrink sooooooo much! One box can only fill Darrius’s tummy but definitely not mine! Gonna ban this chicken rice stall for sure!

ya everything go up up up. maybe cos rice also expensive these days. sg here nothing is cheap also… chicken rice about S$3.50 also at coffeeshops. if go food court about $4.00 or more. nothing seemed to be going down

no picture of the chicken rice? price goes up like crazy. since the rice price went up so much here, i can forsee prices of take out will increase very soon too. when price go up here, it goes up 50 cents at least.

same here too.. the nasi lemak that we usually have costs RM2 end of last year.. it has since increased twice to RM2.80!! in just 4 months!

Dunkin Donut also decrease the size of donut… everything increse prise liao. Cook urself? sometime lagi expensive, because only few are eating. BM still ok lo.
