Daddy spoils all the rules
When PiggyBeng was away, there will be no one other than myself to impose all the rules for Darrius. I will be very strict with him and without the interference from anyone, I felt I could at least discipline that Lil’ monster of mine. However, once daddy is back… there goes my efforts!
Darrius being Darrius, knows very well when he can start to be a bully. He knows that what mommy will stop him from doing, he might be able to get away with daddy. Daddy being the ‘boh chap’ person, will just do anything as long as his son is not making a scene. So, if Darrius wants to press the button at the lift, daddy will gladly carry him up and let him press. If Darrius wants to watch the TV, daddy will oblige as long as Darrius don’t go disturb him.
Tell me how to ‘ground’ the notti boy?
I really don’t know what to do or how to do it… to discipline this fella.
After all the scolding, screaming and grounding… they are in the trash now as daddy is ever so ‘boh chap’ and let Darrius do just about anything. If the Lil fella screams, daddy will just pinch and moves on. Can you see why I am so stress?

Disciplining kids is a 2-person job. Jon and I had agreed we have to work together, otherwise that monkey girl of ours will be more naughty. This girl already knows who to run to for “help”…and that’s the grandparents. We have already give “warnings” to our folks not to interfere when we’re disciplining Belle. It might be a good idea for u & hubby to have a talk to make sure that you both agree on the same rules. It’s very hard for discipline to work if only 1 parent does it.

agree, sometime daddy can make us crazy, maybe we need to have a rule for daddy..the rule for daddy is follow the rules!! HAHAHA, agree?
haha….dono i shud side mummy or boi boi….i would say he is still young, kekeke….let him be la….or u ignore him telling him u are very upset with him? scolding does not really help with qiqi.
I do understand your stress. It happens to me too! U know wat i did? I grab my gal together with me straight into a room, lock it ! When both of us inside the room, I show my sad face…. *drama a bit lah* most of the time, my girl will come to me and ask why I sad… then start lah… the grandmother’s story again… after the brainwashing session, we both will go down & clean up the mess, or continue what we are supposed to…

I feel guilty for scolding ashley too but then…at the same time we cant let me think they can get away with naughty behavior right? It’s a tough line to balance…
