Funtastic weekend with Balloons & a party!

Another very back dated post… (geez, I have so much backlog!)

After our Genting trip, we went to 1Utama the next day as we need to attend a little boy’s birthday party nearby as well as going to PiggyBeng’s uncle place to fix the corrupted PC after the party. Like usual, there will be heaps of activities in 1U. First when we went up the new wing, there was this Milo carnival… Darrius was hooked for a while as there were some ball games going on. He wanted to participate but too bad he’s still under 3 years old!

On the later part we went upstairs and saw these really fabulous looking balloons on display. They were gorgeous!!!! It was the World of Balloons exhibition held for a week. This time, Piggybeng was hooked! He went around snapping photos of those creatively tied balloons structures. These balloon structures are simply gorgeous and we have never imagine they can be so beautifully formed. It is definitely an eye opener!

After all the posing-posing, we have to leave for McD at CentrePoint for the party which is about 5 mins drive from 1U. Since we were not too familiar with the building, we park on the other end of McD and we have to take a LONG walk over under the hot weather!

When we arrived, there were already many people gathered at the 2nd floor of the restaurant where the part was held. Most kids are busy playing at the mini playground at one of the corners. Darrius could not hold his excitement and quickly ran to the playground and went on the slide.

Then he got a balloon in the shape of sword so we asked him to do a little posey. Finally it was time to eat and look at my ‘wai-sek-mou’ so busy munching his nuggets and fries. I think he was the only kid who sat in the high chair eating with much enjoyment. Thanks to Sasha and family for having us.
