Stocking up
This is not about pantyhose….
As most of us Malaysians are in the heat up on the coming election, I noticed some people are even preparing for the worst case scenario. Yes, they are kiasu but after thinking about it, it does make sense. After all, who wants a repeat of history?
Today, while we were in Queens Bay Mall and Tesco, we saw scores of people loading their carts with carts filled with rice and noodles. We might be wrong as it is the 1st day of the month, where most people just got their salary.
However, PiggyBeng felt we should not be too complacent. Anything might happen… especially if the opposition has a big win. Our worst fear of history repeating is high… if our governing party did not clinch a 2/3 of the votes.
So, what we did? We stocked up too! Bought some can food and lots of noodles… At least during the emergency period, we still have food within the house… we never know if there will be curfew!

Elections coming izzit? Seems like this time round, the opposition might have a big win since many are not happy. But I still think BN will win-lah with reduced majority. Can’t imagine any other party winning…

The scenario is always like this just before election day. I haven’t really given it a thought. Hmmm, maybe I should also just stock up, just in case….
Why worry when you are in Penang? The whole island is the filled with people of the same colour so any chance of riots will be minimal.
Even in KL where the racial composition is more balanced, we are not worried. In any event, I’ll just jump over my wall into my neighbour’s garden and we’ll have a kenduri
I’m going to give my vote to the opposition anyway. Always have – always will.
actually i also did as advised by my parents…..most importantly i made sure got enough food supply for the little one. We starve a bit never mind lah….
