My shocking hospital bill
Every year during Chinese New Year I will be back to Ipoh with my family to celebrate with my other relatives before I was married to PiggyBeng. And without fail, we will dine in the same restaurant with the same dish every year. There will usually be two big head prawns dishes which are among the popular dishes that we will have.
However, for a couple of years I have been having very serious allergy reaction after taking one of the prawn dishes. My whole face and body will turn red and there was once that I even threw up and almost fainted. My dad rushed me to the hospital and I have to be admitted as the doctors can’t seemed to find out the cause of the allergy.
That time I spent less than 24 hours in the hospital and guess how much was the bill? It came up to almost a thousand bucks! Luckily I bought an individual health insurance policy which take cares of the bill. If not, I think I will have to be hospitalized again for getting shocked!
