2008 – A year for wedding bells
One of my cousin sister might be getting married next year and one of PiggyBeng’s cousin brother will be getting married too. For the Chinese, the Year 2008 is a good time to tie the knot as the character ‘8′ is a symbol of togetherness and prosperity. Therefore, many have planned to get married during this auspicious year.
In the recent years I’ve heard and seen lots of weddings, the couples have been giving out
unique wedding favors to their guests who attended the wedding dinners. In fact this new ‘culture’ is getting really popular among Asians these days. However, I am not sure if my cousin or PiggyBeng’s cousin will be giving out any.
I’ve wanted to give to our guests too during my wedding but due to time constraint and lack of budget, we aborted the idea. How I wish I could give a little momentous to our guests…
