3 Day 2 Night @ Grand Millennium
After Darrius’s birthday party on Sunday, we have to packed up the next day as we have to moved in to the hotel. Some of you might be wondering why. Well, for this trip PiggyBeng managed to coincide with one of his working event and he has to meet up with some distributors at the recent ACM event which was held in KLCC earlier this week.

We take it as a little treat to the Lil’ Fella since his actual birthday fell on Wednesday and as a family’s mini vacation. We checked in on Monday afternoon to the newly refurbished Grand Millennium Hotel which was Regent Hotel previously. Initially PiggyBeng has wanted to book Shangri-La but there isn’t much things we can do there since it was located quite far from all the shopping areas.

I can say we do not have much regret except we have to use the back door as they are still doing touching up in the lobby. So it was closed on the day we checked in but was partially open the next day. The best thing is, it is located in the heart of the shopping district! We can just walked over to Pavilion and across to Lot 10 and Sungei Wang Plaza. Though the room is quite small but it is rather cozy…

The weather was quite gloomy the two days we were there. Darrius was having mild flu so we did not bring him to the pool on the 1st day. We only brought him on the 2nd day and he was having a fun time…

On Wednesday, before we check out the weather was very gloomy and was about to rain. So we quickly brought Darrius to the pool again so he can have some fun before we leave. The pool was quite crowded with kids and Darrius refused to go into his float so we ended up doing this…

Playing in the hotel room’s bath tub!
.
We have to let the bath tub’s water tap running as the temperature was quite low from the a/c in the room or Darrius will catch a cold. Luckily the hotel’s water heaters are working fine.
The lobby was opened to the public on Tuesday night so we took the opportunity to snap a few photos…
