So lazy but got to get back to work…
I’ve not been doing a lot of paid posts the past few days as I have yet to regain my momentum after the party. I am extremely tired and LAZY! Also, there are just too many activities going on…
Some of you knew my SIL has just given birth. Well, she actually contracted a Confinement Lady (CL) all the way from Sabah as her family is from there. The CL actually came together with my SIL’s mom a week before my SIL was due. Then 2 nights ago, the CL received a call that her dad fell down and had a stroke. Immediately she wanted to go back to Sabah. Well, my brother has no other choice but to release her and even got her the airfare on that very night! The CL did not even apologize to my brother and my SIL! And to know that she is one of the highly sought after CL in Sabah and the Peninsular….
Now, my SIL is shorthanded as only her mom who is here to help out initially has to stay back (she was supposed to fly back to Sabah today). The CL really screwed up the entire plan! I really pity my brother as this whole incident really stressed him out a lot… not forgetting the difficult labor my SIL went through last week… Guess what? The labor fees amounted to RM8K+!!! Damn freaking expensive! And now the CL ‘cabut’ (run away) and still have to pay her plus airfare!
Due to all the unexpected turn of events, my mom has to help now. So we have to shuttle between my parents’ house and my brother’s house at least 2 times a day so my mom can send some cooking stuff over as well as checking on the baby. And because of that I hardly have chance to come online…
What I am doing now is merely completing those near to expiry tasks…

RM8k is a lot of money. Hope ur SIL & BIL are coping well with their newborn.
so sorry for ur SIL? Why 8K? She got C-sect? That’s expensive! Looks like nowadays booking CL early also is not a gurantee.
pity your brother. i dun understand why he pays her the CL fee, even though she didn’t fulfil her task at all. also the hospital fee so expensive one? 8K!! which hospital was that?
