It’s always wise to backup your site
Recently one of the mommy blogger who has just migrated from her blogspot site to her own domain got a shock as some of her posts went missing. The weird thing is, there were quite a number of posts vanished from both her sites! She was extremely frustrated as she did not have any backup for both sites. Worst of all, some of the missing posts are sponsored posts and without them appearing on her sites, the advertisers were not able to pay her.
I have experienced it once where my entire blog went missing. It was really a scary experience as I really dread the idea of redoing the entire site again. After that, one of the engineers from my hosting company helped me to do a backup in the server. However, being the extra caution person that I am, I decided to do an online backup too as I don’t want to go through another scare…
