23-month++ going 24-month…
Geez… I’m such a lousy mommy… How can I missed documenting Darrius’s milestones for this important month? My Lil’ kay-poh-chi will be turning BIG 2 in less than 2 weeks time! Time sure flies!
.
Oh! I’m going to be 2 soon!!!
.
Being a 23-month++, Darrius can do so many things now. He can talk very well and have been saying triple syllabus words such as elephant, aeroplane, crocodile and a few more. He can name most of the shopping malls here such as Prangin Mall, Gurney Plaza, Tesco, Jusco and Giant. He still struggle with ’s’ which is Sunshine as he called it ‘eh-eh’. Being able to communicate with us are fantastic but sometimes he can be a nuisance when he turned to Mr Opposition!
He can climb up and down the stairs by himself but only half way as he will be afraid when he reached the mid point… weird fella! He insisted on feeding himself during meal time which is good in a way but mommy have to do extra cleaning lah! Finally he has graduated to eating rice though I will still cook porridge for him.
Like mommy, Darrius enjoys eating noodles and even curry or spicy dishes! So far he is not picky on his food but sometimes he does have those ‘PMS’ syndromes where he will refused whatever I offered to him.
He loves to sing and can even sing some of the Nursery Rhymes by himself even though one or two lines can be missing most of the time! He like us playing the sing-song games where he will asked us to sing a particular song and he will chip in where he knows the words for that particular song. Sometimes he likes to sing aloud to entertain himself when he’s alone playing.
One of the bad habits I wish he could change is his stubborness. He is just like his daddy… if you tell him don’t do it, the more he will go and do it. I am quite fed-up asking him to pick up all his toys but this boy just won’t budge even I asked him to pick up up teen times!
There are more stuff but I think my brain is quite ‘blocked’ now and can’t recall most of them. Will blog about them when I remember in a separate post…

So cute!! He’s a November baby too?
He’s cute in this pic… and i think most kids will try to do something that we wish they don’t od… it’s like testing out for their curiousity and parent’s tolerany + patient! It’s muh more easier now when darrius can communicate so well with everyone, nice… isn’t it?
