Cooking Sarawak Laksa
During one of my trip to KL, our pretty twins’ mama gave me a few packets of the famous Sarawak Laksa paste which her mother brought all the way from Sarawak. I have wanted to cook them but something always come up and we ended up cooking other stuff. Since there were only 2 of us, it might be too much for a meal too.
So, finally after more than five months these few packets of paste sitting in my cabinet, I decided to try them out. I’ve tasted once when this sexy mama invited me to her place to try the laksa. And since all of us have never tasted the real stuff, we can’t really comment on the taste.
It has some kind of herbs taste but overall it tasted quite ok. I only cooked 1/4 of the packet which can cook up to 4 times… I only have some shredded chicken, bean sprouts and Chinese cabbage for the garnishing as I forgot to get prawns and boil the eggs. What matter most is, it tasted great!
