Master of all terrains
For my driving skills, I don’t think I can be that gungho to tell you which car is best, on road or off road. However, since I have the liking for rugged vehicles, I just drool on them whenever I see them let alone sit in them. The fact that these rugged vehicles are much higher than those ordinary sedans, I find them extremely attractive. With MPV and SUV being the talk of this century, we are blessed with more choices but sometimes, the pioneer brands do somehow gave us a better feeling or even security.
As a four-wheel drive lover, I do go about checking out the various brands available though I may not have a chance to own one as yet. Besides some of the Japanese models which I really like, I do have my eyes on some of the latest models of Land Rover. The Land Rover is made specifically as a pioneering civilian all-terrain utility vehicle when it was first launched in the UK after the World War 2 in 1948.
After almost half a century, we have seen quite a lot of changes to this brand and going with time, they are getting better than ever. If you have not know, Land Rover is one of the longest lived SUV brands.
Currently there are five different models available in the UK market. They are namely the Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, Discovery 3, Freelander 2 and Defender. The Range Rover is in fact the most complete luxury 4×4 in the world which is also the flagship of the Land Rover range. And this is the model I called ‘Master of all Terrains’ which readily makes everything from cruising on tarmac, to driving on off beaten roads smooth and unruffled.
As for the interior, what intrigues me the most are their leather heated seats with driver’s memory. Super cool! Normally heated seats are only found on the two front seats and not the entire car. This feature is extremely essential during those deadly winter out in the country side.
Well, if you have never been on a Land Rover before, it is about time you go for a test drive. I can assured you they are one of the better SUV around. And if you really love them but can’t afford a brand new machine, you can always check out those Used Land Rover. For me, I preferred to go for Used Cars as I can safe up so much more for even the newest models.
