Bee Movie day
After an early lunch today, we went over to Queens Bay Mall to catch our private screening of the latest animated movie – The Bee Movie which stared by Jerry Seinfeld and Renee Zellweger as voice over.
It was raining cats and dog when we leave the house around 11.40am. We has wanted to park our car at the basement but when we arrived around 11.55am, the car parks at the basement were already full. We have no choice but to go to the car parks up at the top. We were lucky to find a space without needing to go round and round.
It was incredible that there were so many cars today! When we entered the mall, there were so many people! We seldom see that many people in the mall! Well, we were early as the tickets redemption only starts around 12.30pm so we went around till the guys from Exabytes are ready.
Some posey-posey before the movie starts
Finally we got our tickets which comes with 2 popcorns and 2 Colas coupons. Our seats, B10 and B11 which was the 2nd roll from the back at theater 1. Quite a good seating as we always like to be at the far end. The only thing is, we are in the centre of the roll so quite inconvenient to go in and out especially with Darrius the kay-poh-chi around.
We went for shopping while we wait till the movie starts. Managed to shop for some clothing from Forever21 and Topshop. When the movie starts at 3pm, we were shown some advertisements and in 5 minutes (after those guys from Exa took some photos) the movie starts. Love the graphics! Like all Dream Works’ animated movies, this movie is no difference. Just imagine watching Toy Story…
During one of the scene where ‘Barry’ the bee (lead star) was trapped in the rain, guess what did Darrius said?
Me: Boi! See! It’s raining!
Darrius: Raining! Take umbrella!
Me and PiggyBeng: LOL
Darrius was really enjoying the movie for the first 20 minutes or so. He was so busy munching on the popcorns, taking by himself from the box which we put on the cup holder… he looked so grown up then! It was so cute watching him!
After trying to feed him some water, he decided to come down and started to move about! Then he saw our colas and started to pull the straw in and out and getting very irritating. After 15 minutes or so, he really getting very distracting so PiggyBeng decided to bring him out. I finished the movie alone.
Darrius did not sleep until we leave the mall. He was so tired then that he was knocked out in less than 5 minutes!
