Unique gift ideas
This is the time of the year every company will make some orders of corporate gifts to be given to their clients or business associates. When was in the corporate world, I used to source for these stuff as I was in the sales and marketing department.
Though it was fun to do the job but I can tell you, it was not easy to find stuff that are appropriate as I have to consider about the budget as well as the quantity to order. And the toughest part was to find something that is unique as well as useful to the intended person.
Like there was once we ordered a crystal plaque with a clock attached and one of our Hong Kong client rejected the gift. My boss was quite taken aback as that gift was quite an expensive one because we actually engraved our client’s name on it. The client told us that he don’t like receiving anything with clock on it… It was in their customs or superstitious concerns.
