Unfair Bank Charges
A few weeks ago PiggyBeng ‘lost’ his wallet but only realized it quite late at night. While he trying to remember the traces of the day, almost all the possible places he had been during the day were already closed. The only place he can check was his cubicle in his office. However, his wallet wasn’t there.
Since he has a few credit cards in his wallet, he has to call the bank and credit card companies to halt any possible transactions with his cards. He thought that since he is not canceling the cards, the banks won’t be charging him. How wrong he was! Frankly, the bank charges are exorbitant and it is just like daylight robbery! As he was extremely worried that the cards will fall into wrong hands, he has no other choice but to cancel them and get a replacement.
It is so unfair for the banks to charge their customers this way. After all, we, the customers pay the annual subscription fees and whatever other fees which we can’t see. I just wish that we can stop these banks from charging us exorbitant fees in the future.
