Lil jigzaws boy…

About a month ago I bought a box of jigsaw puzzles for Darrius from Popular Books Store. It was those IQ puzzles with increased difficulties which starts with just 6 pieces and end with 9 pieces. It was meant for ages 2-4 years old. The set I bought was on Construction Vehicles. The pictures and colours of the set are not so attractive but I just want him to have something different from those normal animals and bugs stuff that he likes.

I must say, the pictures and colours are very important especially for kids his age. After playing for a while he totally has no interest with that set of puzzles so I have to get new ones. I have no choice but search for something that has animals and bugs for him…

While shopping at Tesco one day, I stumbled on some wooden jigsaws which I feel in love immediately! It was the type which I have been searching for. The wood base was really good as it will not be folded or tear… perfect for Darrius who still likes to tear things up.

Though this set is with 12 pieces but Darrius has no problem piecing them all together! The picture on the board is really good as it can guide him to place the pieces correctly. Maybe a few years down the road I will send him for an IQ test and see if he can join the Mensa society or not…. kiasu hor? :P

Here is the Lil’ fella in action….
