For 5 years he gets a pen…
Next year, PiggyBeng will celebrate his 5th year with his current company. He said this is the longest he had stayed with just one company. Actually he did not worked for that many companies in the past as he spent most of his time in the university doing research.
So, I asked him what will his company award him for being such a loyal employee? Five years is quite a long period as most people do not stay longer than 2 years with one employer these days since job-hopping is quite popular among the younger employees.
PiggyBeng told me they might get him one of those personalized pens with his name and year of service engraved. Not sure which brand of pen but I do hope they give him at least a MontBlanc…
