He’s on the road again…
It’s the 4th quarter for PiggyBeng and that means he will hit the road again after a freeze in travel for the past 2 months. This time his trip happens to coincide with the Hari Raya long weekend. I can’t imagine of all the dates, why he has chosen these dates to go away! Well, he told me that it is not for him to say as the other parties confirmed their meetings for those few days.
Initially I have wanted to bring Darrius to my parents’ place since PiggyBeng will be away for more than a week. Then my dad told me their trip to China has been confirmed too and will leave a few days after PiggyBeng left. What a bummer! So now, Darrius and myself will be stuck in this little island…
PiggyBeng told me that this could be his last time going to Latin America as he may want to pass on the portfolio to his US-based colleagues. I think he was quite heavy hearted since he has been handling this portfolio for the past 2-3 years. Therefore, he told me he wanted to look his best during his up coming trip (I hope his zits are gone by that time!).
In fact he has been shopping for a few formal shirts to go with the new suit which he has just purchased in Singapore. He don’t normally like formal dressing but for most of his overseas business trips he will put on his best. I’ve even bought him a few ties to go with some of his new shirts.
Later in the day we will go to Gurney Plaza again as PiggyBeng wanted to get a few casual shirts too. PiggyBeng don’t normally like shopping for clothing so this is such a rare occasion! Looking forward to our weekend escapé again!
