Ever since I started blogging for money, I found my skin has deteriorated so much that I started to feel dried skins around my jaw area and also seeing more visible lines around my eyes area. These are definitely the result from lack of sleep and rest.In the past I do not really bother much about my skin. And I can’t comprehend the meaning of ‘worst’ as Darrius do not only refused to go upstairs but he even cried and screamed as if his daddy is about to slaughter him! Yeah, it is that bad now.

Before the business trip, Darrius is still willing to be carried upstairs and will even wave goodbye and goodnight to me but now he will cry a river and beg me to carry him and told his daddy to go away! He will tell me he don’t want his daddy… *sigh*

As each time when PiggyBeng brought Darrius up to the room, I will not follow but I can hear the cries and screams but I do not know what is happening in the room. I refrained from entering as once I do, Darrius will not let me leave the room and the cries and screams will start all over again.

Last night the cries and screams were really bad and in my heart was wondering what PiggyBeng is doing until his son has that kind of reactions? I thought he might have slapped or beat Darrius hence the continuous crying and screaming but I was surprised when I entered the room and saw PiggyBeng cradling that Lil’ monster! Of course when Darrius sees me he stopped crying and asked me to carry him immediately.

So, before PiggyBeng was due to bring Darrius up tonight I warned him to not agrivate the Lil’ monster. Must use different approach so he will not have such a negative reaction. Well, it still do not work and PiggyBeng lamented that he can’t sing like I do which Darrius likes. *sigh*

It’s now 10.45pm, more than 45 minutes they were up there and I still can hear ‘thump, thump, thump’ and occasional cries. I guess every time PiggyBeng tried to switch off the light Darrius will cry…

So fast it has been a year! It’s HALLOWEEN again! Well, this year we won’t get to do any ‘trick or treat’ like last year. And I don’t think the folks here are into it. It’s not a culture here after all unless we are in the big cities like KL or Singapore… then probably we might get some ghoulish actions.

I’ve wanted to let Darrius to put on his costume but it is so small now that he can’t hardly fit in! And the material is quite warm for our weather here so I can only display one of the pics we took when we went ‘trick or treat’ in LA last year!

Recently my ‘taukeh’ has received many new assignments after he completed the previous project on the condominium unit he was working on. In fact he is now over seeing more renovation projects after some other condo owners approached him to do more renovation works for other units. Therefore, my work load has increased slightly over the weeks too.

We are also getting more staff in to do the various hacking and plastering works. Being the nice boss, my ‘taukeh’ is even getting quality work boots for all his new staff so they can work in comfort. However, they need to be those steel toe boots as the work site has very uneven flooring at the moment which may cause injuries to foot if no proper shoes are worn.

The past few months has been quite torturing with our stewpig IE browser as I have loads of problems loading certain sites. I often get error pages whenever I need to reserve an opp at the TigaP site. Then it is sooooooooo unfriendly with Blogger that I can’t seem to load the comment box.

And now, these will be the things of the past! PiggyBeng finally installes Firefox in one of our PC after endless bugging from his yellow-face aunty! Now the pages will appear with no problems at all…. I can go into comment box and get my opp page loaded without any hitch…

Ok, now I shall do more $$$ post! Kidding only lah….

There have been many times PiggyBeng meant to look for a canvas tent so we could bring it with us to the beach. It is extremely useful now with the unpredictable weather…. a moment there’s sunshine and out of a sudden we can get showered.

The reason why we needed the tent is, it will be useful as it allows us to keep our stuff especially when we intend to have picnics by the beach. In case it rained, our stuff and Darrius will still be dry…

While I was looking for some old photos, I stumbled upon this photo which I took with m uncle’s Golden Retriver by the name, Buddy a few years back. Buddy was only a year old then but he is such a big dog.

My uncle and his family really like Buddy and they gave him the best care. As my uncle is a pilot, he gets to fly to many countries and during most of his trips, he will get something for Buddy. This is so whenever he flies to Frankfurt. He will stuff at least a big portion of his lagguage with dog supplies as he find them extremely cheap as compared to those sold in Singapore.

Well, don’t you think Buddy is such a lucky dog?

Yesterday while chatting with my dad, we casually discussed about what to get for my little nephew who will be seeing the world very soon. My brother’s wife is expected to deliver the baby within these 2 weeks so everyone is pretty excited about it.

For Chinese custom and tradition, the grandparents will normally give gold jewellery such as necklace, bangles or anklets to the newborn during the full moon celebration. When Darrius was a month old, he received quite a few sets of gold jewelleries from all his grand uncles and aunties besides both grand parents.

So far I’ve never put on any for Darrius as it’s quite dangerous to wear gold these days more over he is still a small kid. My mom did suggested that we get him a silver anklet instead. I did went around some silver jewellery shops to search for one but till now I have yet to get for him…. lazy me… always procrastinate!

The day before PiggyBeng left for his business trip, we went to this Double Good (Hao-Hao) Restaurant at Bukit Jambul for lunch with his uncle who came up from KL for the Hari Raya break. This is my second time there. I quite like the food especially the Indonesian Assam Prawns… super yummy though it’s quite rich from the coconut milk!

Beside the prawns we ordered the 3 Cup Chicken (Sam Pui Kai) which was recommended by PiggyBeng’s cousin who was there with us. This is the first time I had this dish here in Malaysia. The last time I had this was when I was in Sydney at this small Chinese restaurant near my friend’s place around the UNSW campus.

As Darrius was with us, we have to order something that is not hot or spicy so we had the restuarant’s Special Tofu. Also another yummy dish! I like the way the tofus are fried, crispy on the outside and soft inside… and the fried dried prawns gave the dish an extra ummmppphhh!
