I know of many people who are unhappy with the way their nose is structured. I, myself for one who is also unhappy with my nose. Like some of my friends, I ever did contemplate to have a little nose job. However, I have very low pain threshold so I have yet to do anything drastic so far.

I’ve heard of some people who had gone for such surgeries do have some kind of after effect problems… It could be due to various reasons why things went awry. Well, I do not have the experience so can’t give any comments or opinions. If you have gone for a nose job and was greeted by the unexpected turnout, it is best to get help from the professionals at the Los Angeles rhinoplasty revision for a correction.

This is a long over due post which I’ve almost forgotten about…

Don’t all of you agree that one of the most important must have item as a blogger is having a good working condition camera?

Remember sometime in July during the durian season, my little old faithful, a Power Shot A95 was down due to some problem with the display so we have to send it in for service. Initially we tried to live with the little problem but as time goes by, it got worst. The screen actually turn purplish and lines started to appear.

We almost wanted to ge a new one since ours has been with us for almost 4 years. Then PiggyBeng related the problems to one of his colleagues and he told PiggyBeng that his camera was having the same fate. So he actually sent it in for service though he do not have any warranty any more. Best still, he bought the camera in Taiwan like 5 years back. Guess what? He got his camera repaired and it is entirely FREE of charge!

So, upon hearing this, PiggyBeng also send our camera in for repair. After about 3 weeks, Canon senta SMS to PiggyBeng and asked him to collect our camera. And we were told that our camera has been repaired and it’s FOC too! Yippeeee!

Then Anna of Whoisbabyposted about her camera’s problem. So I told her to try send her camera in for service too since we got ours fixed and is totally Free. She heeded my advice and sent her camera in. And guess what happened??? She did not get hers repaired as they can’t find the spare parts for her camera instead she got a Refurbished set and a newer model too!!!!

Well, that says it all right? Canon has the best Customer Care as far as I’m concern.

I know I am vain to a certain extent but I also know some of you out there are even more vain than me! hehehe Tell me you are not!!!

Lets be honest. Don’t you ever, or for a tiny moment, thought of having plastic surgery just so you could look or be that perfect you? Maybe just a little nose job, eyes job or even get some botox jabs to get a face lift?

I knew of an ex-colleague of mine who used to be very open to all these. Ok, I called her vain pot but don’t we all are vain? She often asked for my opinions as she is never satisfied with her looks. She always felt that her nose is too flat, which was not true. Then she lamented she don’t have double eye lids and etc… So I told her, if she can be happier by having double eye lids and a sharp nose, then just go ahead and get it done!

When I was doing that number meme last week, it suddenly struck me that I am indeed a huge fans of noodles. I just love anything that got to do with noodles or pasta. Be it made of wheat flour or rice flour, I just love them all the same.

So, I decided to take a shot on some of my ‘properties; that are currently owned by me… And oh boy, I did not know I am such a noodles mania until I lay them all out….

The above are only partial of my ‘properties’. There are some which I am just too lazy to lay them out.

Whenever I go out groceries shopping, I will always visit the particular aisle that keeps all the noodles. I will try whatever new flavours on sale and must be the spicy range. Even during my holiday trips, I will go and search for any local delights that are available in the local stores or supermarkets.

Currently I am a huge-huge fan of Korean noodles. I even bugged PiggyBeng to get for me when he was in Korea a few times. Then when he was in transit in Singapore (before our last trip together) I will bug him to get for me too as it was so much cheaper compared to here…. Ok-ok, I know I am weird….

When I was a kid, I don’t really get around doing things together with m friends as most of them live quite a distance from me. Then my mom don’t quite like the idea of me going to my friends’ place so I ended up not getting to have fun with most of them until we were quite grown up. However, I do count myself lucky as I can spend my holidays with my cousins back in my hometown during the long school breaks.

I used to have plenty of fun when I went to stay with some of my cousins. Besides playing all kinds of board games, we went for swimming sessions at the private club as my aunt was a member, hold BBQ sessions as well as pajamas parties. Sometimes, when thinking back, I do have some really good childhood.

When Darrius or any of my other kids reached school going years, I hope I could give them the opportunities to mix with their little friends too. As things are quite different now as compared to yesteryear, I am not sure if other parents will allow their kids to spend holidays with their little friends together for an extented period.

Well, maybe I worried too much too soon. But I do hope that someday when my kids have their own friends, they can at least spend their holidays playing with their friends. Maybe invite them for kids pajamas parties too. Though I find this is going out of fashion somehow but I do hope they will find it fun and could keep this little fun thing they can do with their friends.

Remember I was ranting about my PCs were not Facebook friendly last week? Well, they are still unfriendly 2 nights ago. I asked PiggBeng to check why I can’t get the thing to budge and after clicking here and there he told me that something is wrong with 1) our IE browser or 2) the Javascripts that Facebook is using.

So, after trying effortlessly for the past two nights (still insist on trying) I have to accept the facts that I CAN’T access Facebook from both my active desktops! What a bummer!!!!

Then, yesterday afternoon one dahsyat (horrible + terrible) thing happened! Trojan horses came and invade our our desktop which was in our living room! Uuuugggrrrrhhh! Why so ‘tau-mei’ (bad luck) one??? So, I related the bad news to PiggyBeng after dinner (better feed him full-full 1st in case he marah) and was lucky he did not flared at me… *pheeeewww*

PiggyBeng then spent the entire evening and night trying to get the virus out but it refuses to budge… till now I’m not sure if he has removed the virus or not. So, while waiting I asked if I could use his laptop to check some mails… then later asked if I could test if Facebook works on his laptop or not…. And wooooooohoooooooo it works!!!!! Then I told him that I will use his laptop to do Facebooking from now on!

Buying a pre-built house or a piece of land to build the house on?

This questions has been bugging us for quite some time. PiggyBeng and my father in law have been scouting for houses for quite some time but they have yet to find something suitable. FIL is contemplating to find empty land for sale for quite sometime but so far there isn’t any good piece available.

The reason why both of them wanted to look for lands instead of houses is because they wanted to have a huge area and not a huge house. Penang, being a small place and land is scarce, a good piece of land don’t come cheap too.

Its been a hard day night…

Well, I am feeling exactly that way. Don’t know what I am so tired about. Have been so lazy the past few days and can’t really concentrate in writing much. Though I have wanted to do paid posts blog but I was not motivated at all. Have been procrastinating as well and pushing some jobs away as I can’t think of what to write. Yeah, the juices are running dry….

Actually, I thought I am almost at the end of my paid postings journey as there were not many offers lately and thus slowed down my momentum. Then out of a sudden I secured a few but has not been diligent enough to complete them so they are now nearing their due dates and I am trying to rush them out!

Lazy me!!!! And when I wanted to actually sit and do, nothing seems to come out… Was brain dead for a moment… Or is that a writer’s block?

Hopefully the flow will return…

When I was working, I seldom bothered myself with the mass of insurance policies as I know the companies I worked for will make sure I am covered as long as I am under their employment. However, it’s entirely different now since I am a stay at home mom.

Though I know PiggBeng’s company do have insurance coverage for the entire family, I do not take things for granted as we might not know if suddenly one day he could be out of job. For that matter, I went ahead and get myself a term life insurance as well as a life insurance. To me, it’s another way to save for the golden years.
