Let’s get Chatty!
If you have not known, I used to be a very avid online chatter some 10 years ago. That was before the proliferation of blogging scene so chat networks such as IRC, IRQ, Yahoo chat and etc… filled most of my free time.
These free chat rooms are a great way to meet new friends and find people who shared the same interests to meet, share or even develop closer friendships. It is another way to build up and expand our social network.
I have found so many friend through such networks and I still kept in touch with some of these friends I met online. In fact, how I got into diving was actually through one of the #diving chat room which was introduced by a friend. Besides diving, I have Karaoke groups, roller blading groups, movie going group, chit-chat over coffee groups, shopping groups, beach sport groups, travelling groups and even church going groups!
