A little doggy tale…
During the time when I was staying with my uncle and his family in Singapore, they have this little mixed Tzi-shu and Terrier named Curly which is really cute and smart. My uncle got her from the SPCA as a birthday present to both his sons. Long story behind why Curly was with the SPCA but after 3 years she was with us, she got dog-napped one day!
We tried all ways to find her and even reported to the police but we still could not find her. After a few months, we gave up looking for her. My cousins were devastated but we just have to live with the fact that Curly is gone. We just wished she will be in good hands.
Then one day, I met an old school friend from Malaysia who was working in Singapore. We kept in contact and after a few months he called me and asked if I am keen to have a little Terrier puppy? Silver is a pure breed Silky Terrier and he is such a pretty dog! I fell in love instantly and called my uncle if he is keen to keep Silver on my behalf as I was renting an apartment else where. My friend was offered a job in Hong Kong and can’t bring Silver along hence he has to find him a new home. So we brought Silver to meet my uncle and his family and they too fell in love with him instantly.
However, Silver is a little confused dog as he has changed many masters in his short life. Therefore, he was quite unfriendly. One of the neighbour’s kid was disturbing him and Silver gave him a huge bite! My uncle was apologetic and sent Silver to the dog training school to get him trained professionally.
After the training, things were fine and Silver was obedient and did not create any havoc. Then one day he went amok! He started biting everyone and my uncle was fed-up and told me he has to return Silver. It was a heart breaking decision as my cousins were very fond of Silver but just too bad he is not a very friendly dog.
