Not just for the young at heart
Before Darrius was born, we used to go to this unused open space near the Pulau Jerejak’s jetty to watch some hobbyists flying RC airplanes. Surprisingly, we do not only spot the youngsters but there were quite a few senior couples who were among the group.
We were not sure if they belong to some hobby clubs but these few people seemed to be there almost every weekend we went by. Looking at those nice planes flying in various acrobatic styles, which, was a good break from our usual weekend activities. We even brought Darrius along once.
Recently we found out the entire place were being fenced up by some developers… guessed the land will be used to build more houses. Now I wonder where have the group gone to…
