On the beach #1
After retirement, dad was rather bored sitting at home. So, on Saturday night he decided to come up to Penang with my mom. They took the night train this time as dad do not want to drives up. They arrived on Sunday morning around 6.30am to Butterworth before taking a ferry over to the Island. PiggyBeng went to fetch them from the ferry terminal at Weld Quay around 7am.
We went for Sunday brunch buffet at Wonderland Restaurant (they served Non-Halal buffet) next to Komtar. Food was ok but the aircon was out due to some work done by the power company so we have to dine with the fan on and windows open. Luckily the weather was quite pleasant so it was not too warm. Only towards the end of our meal did the aircon was switched on. As the restaurant was located on the 11th floor, there were strong wind blowing so it was not that hot. I’ve forgotten to snap some pics…. 
Later in the evening, we went to the beach at Batu Ferringhi again. The weather was perfect. Not too hot and with constant breeze blowing our way. We also found a new spot this time. The water was a little choppy though but that does not detered Darrius from having fun….
