SAHM, FTWM, WFHM, PTWM????

This question always bug me big time. I ever did this meme here when my sifu first started it but I guess not many people visit that site of mine so no one really knows except the few that I tagged… hehehe Then again, only one mommy did the tag… so I’m going to target a few more here after I am done with my ramblings…. hehehehe

Before I start, I must give mention to the new mommies whom had tagged me. I was first tagged by the Queen. Very honoured lar. Then I found out about this little Pony when I received the link in from the tag. I just want to thank her for linking me and also tagging me. :) Later I found out another mommy from Singapore also tagged me for the same meme. Triple tagged so must do lor…. Prolly there are more but very pai-seh as I can’t remember so do pardon me if I did not mention your name ya…. :P

Well, I have been a SAHM since the day Darrius is born and not until about 1.5 months ago, I can proudly say I am a WFHM. Why? Cause I’ve started doing paid postings lor! :lol:

I do hope I can be a FTWM or even PTWM but due to my own fussiness, I don’t think I can let someone else taking care of Darrius or any of my future kid(s). Besides my mom I don’t trust any strangers handling Darrius though I know I will have to let go a little when he reaches school going age. So, being a FTWM or PTWM is out of the question now. I know some of my relatives and friends are laughing at my choice. Why? Because I actually went and do my degree before I got married and has not been ultilising my skills with the hard earned knowledge… They said “study so much and stay at home be a yellow face aunty ar?” I guess there are still many who do not give respect to home makers but I hope someday they can change their preception about SAHM or WFHM.

So, choosing between SAHM and WFHM, I still prefer to be a WFHM because…

  1. I can earn my own keepings (though it may not be a lot now but who knows?) and not feeling as worthless as before… can raise voice a bit… hehehe
  2. I still can stay home and spend time with Darrius though I know he can drives me crazy sometimes! At least I know he is safe and not be bullied by some monster.
  3. I don’t have to report to bitchy or bossy bosses!

Actually, being a SAHM or WFHM is one of the toughest job in the world. Why? We don’t get to go ‘on leave’ as and when we want, we can’t change our job descriptions but have to bao-ka-lioa (cover all), we can’t simply ‘quit’ our job when we don’t feel happy and WORST of ALL, we can’t change our boss(es)! :P

~~~Instructions~~~
Here’s how it works:
1. So easy peasy, if you were given a choice, would you be a SAHM or FTWM? Just provide 3 darn good reasons.
2. Include your post link to the list below and Finally,
3. Tag another three mommies
Ok, I am not going to tag anyone as this meme has been floating around for more than a month but if any mommies out there who needs a filler post… you are most welcome to do it!
    Thanks for doing the tag :)
    Wished I can a WFHM but I can’t write as well as you. So I can’t “raise” my voice at home.. Kekeke…
  4. If you start your own business, you can manage your time and divide it between your work and home. I have been doing that for more than 15 years.
    I agree with eastcoastlife :) But first must decide what business to start… :)
    oh dear…. can’t agree more with you as SAHM is definitely the toughest job in the world… moreover without income, no sick leaves, no benefits…. Really have to salute SAHM & WAHM
