Yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!
After the long wait (approximately 14 months and 2 weeks) our little kay-poh-chi has finally made the most momentous milestone…. he is finally walking unassisted!
It was on the afternoon of 3 Feb 2007, after sending my visiting Singaporean friends to Kek-Lok-Si. We decided not to tour the whole place with them as Darrius was rather tired and sleepy since he woke up very early that morning. Upon reaching home, once we entered the house, I just put Darrius down standing up and amazingly at full throttle he moved toward his high chair which was left at the other end of the living room. All of us (MIL, SIL and family who were sitting around the living room) were very surprised too but glad to be there to witness this special moment together.
Initially I was quite shocked too as to why he can suddenly just walked on his own when I have tried letting him walk earlier during the time we were Kwan-Yim temple at the top of Kek-Lok-Si but he was still having jelly-feets and refused to even stand on his own…. just wanted me to carry him. I am so proud of him…

The video was taken on 4 Jan 2007 when we were at Queens Bay Mall. Don’t he look so kawaii (cute in Japanese) walking like a little penguin???? LOL
