The Breath-taking Grand Canyon
Our US holiday is almost coming to an end… time really flies when you are on a holiday… 
This morning we went up to Grand Canyon from Kingmen (a not so small town between Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon). We are spending 2 nights here so PiggyBeng can break up the journey as the drive from Las Vegas to Kingmen was about 2 hours. PiggyBeng dare not drive after the sun set so he planned the stop in Kingmen instead. The drive from Kingmen to Grand Canyon took about 3 hours.
Here we are at one of the viewing area… I must say the Grand Canyon is one breath-taking scenic view. It really look majestic. The air is sooooooooo fresh! (how I wish I can smell the clean air everyday! Well… it’s gonna be hazy Penang in a week time 
)
Look at Darrius with the Ranger hat…. fits him perfectly! Did not purchase it lar as he will takes everything off his head now and chew! It’s so difficult to put on hats for him now (sometimes the sun can be really hot here and can get sun burn!) so I must tricked him with somethimg else… *sigh*
Took this at the Grand View… which is really beautiful! We were very lucky today as the weather was really good and we get clear blue skies throughout the day but it was tough to look at the camera when we posed coz it really hurts the eyes when we have to face the bright sun. Darrius always looked away and PiggyBeng has to bluff this little smarty so he don’t look away when daddy is trying to snap his pictures!

My friends and i drove back fr G. Canyon to Vegas last time at night. There was one point on a long empty desert road, we can see at the far end, the pyramid point & the lights from Luxor. Awesome sights!
nice pictures! very nice view too. must be pretty chilly since you are wearing a sweater. LA will be getting hotter this coming week due to the santa ana windy condition. be prepare for the hot weather when you return here from grand canyon.

Back to LA now but staying near Disneyland and the weather is much warmer here. The next few days will be shopping day as promised by PiggyBeng… Going to Camarilo… one of the biggest outlet shopping area here wor… When we were on our way back from Kingmen, stopped by Barstow and bought some shirts and pants for Darrius from one of the outlets shop… only $1.50 each!!!
Grand Canyon is beautiful. Little guy get a ranger badge?
We went two years ago? There was snow everywhere. Could not see 10 feet in spots. Very disappointing. But we hung around for a couple of days and it cleared up quite beautifully.
whoaaaaa….so so so beautful lehh…
now when is my hubby gonna get free flights to US..hmm
