Shop, shop, shop till drop!
There is no denying that majority of Asians just love to shop!
I would not say that KL is actually a shopping paradise but we are rather fortunate to have so many hypermarkets around on top of the few big malls in and about the Klang Valley. We have 3 major hypermarkets (Tesco, Carrefour & Giants) who constantly compete against each other… which is good news to customers like myself. We are flooded with choice and of course competitive prices too.
These places are usually jammed-packed with shoppers especially during weekends or on public holidays. Even malls in very secluded area is filled with shoppers and as if they don’t need money to buy stuff! I went to Jusco Mall at Taman Equine (near Serdang) this afternoon and boy it was sooooooo packed! Even the carpark was full at 4pm! Then we hopped over to Tesco at IOI Puchong and it was no difference too… the Q were all sooooo long! It looks like these people (KL dwellers) have nothing else to do except going to the malls on weekends and public holiday…. Not forgetting to mention that if we really seriously wanted to get a parking lot (especially in Mid Valley or 1-U) we have to reach before 11am or all the parking lots will be taken up! So, it is a challenge for us, the die-hard shoppers to out bid everyone to get a lot at these malls….. *hiakz*
Afterall, where on earth can you find a place with free use of aircon, FOC washroom (clean with toilet papers) and also occasional food/drink tasting???
Thank GOD I was born in this century…. or else I can’t imagine myself catching spiders to pass time! hehehe Though I love nature… hahahaha

Happy shopping to you.
The spiders feel safer. Bugs are concerned though.
SA,
We shopped so much that Darrius also knew all the places well. He don’t cry any more when I feed him in the nursing room now.
