Fast-Food??? Why must Q soooooooo long??
This afternoon we did not have any lunch as PiggyBeng fried some ‘cempedak’ at mid morning and both of us wallup almost everything. Since it’s a Saturday afternoon and PiggyBeng needs to get some info on laptop for his cousin so we went ‘jalan-jalan’ at Prangin Mall after the ‘cempedak’ session.
Suddenly I have a craving for McD and since Darrius is sleepy, I thought I can stop by the McD outlet on the 2nd floor to satisfy my crave. I’m no fan of McD ever since I was sick for 3 weeks during the Pooh bears collection craze back in the late 90s. I practially eat Big Breakfast almost every morning so that I can have the complete collection of this so called ‘cute’ bears in different attires…. and ended up puking after eating the same stuff for a week and I did not even finish collecting all the 8 soft toys… but have to go on MC for 2 days… *uuurrrggghh* Stopped taking McD for 5 years until I was stuck in Sydney airport 3 years ago… cheapest food available… so have to break the record.
Ok…back to the McD in Prangin Mall.
Since there was a Q, I told PiggyBeng to get a seat so he can pat Darrius to sleep while I wait for my turn to make a purchase. Happily I waited for 5 minutes (there were 3 people in front of me). Later I started to feel rather irritated as the stupid lady in front buying some Kid Meals is taking so long (she wanted the Hello Kitty toys and not some race car ones). Almost 10 minutes later that stupid lady is still stuck at the counter so I try to look around the other counters to see if the Q-s are shorter. Then I realized that the counter I was Q-ing was actually ‘Closed’ but the few of us are still on the Q. Feeling weird I moved on to the next counter but only to realize that the staff that operating the counter is serving the counter where I first Q-ed!! @#$% Wasting my time!!!
I wonder what the **** the Floor Mgr is doing! Can’t he/she instruct his/her staff to stand at the correct counter???? The whole counter is so messy! During the time I Q-ed, the Q hardly moved! What kind of fast-food joint is this???? With all the service staff pulling a long face… my appetite is completely gone!
Maybe I shall not step in McD again….. afterall the burgers sucks! So dried-up just like eating tree bark!!!!
So ended up buying this yummy looking chocolate cheese cake from BH on our way out of the mall….and now I’m having up-set stomach…. forgotten that I can’t take cheese!!!!
