World Breastfeeding Week

Every year from 1-7th of August we (the moomies) will celebrate the World Breastfeeding Week. World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action (WABA) will organise various outreaching activities to commemorate this day and important information such as supporting, protecting and promoting breastfeeding will be disseminated. The theme for this year is Code Watch – 25 Years of Protecting Breastfeeding.

In Penang, the Hospital Pulau Pinang and WABA has a joined event at Giant Hypermarket.

I was supposed to give a short speech on my account in breastfeeding but due to unforseen circumstances or maybe time constrain, the session was cancelled abruptly. Hence, only one of the moomie managed to go on stage. However, we managed to take a group photo though…. for remembrance sake…
